Plan of the lot of the Sisters of the Congregation
The Congrégation de Notre-Dames first permanent mission was established in 1705 in La Prairie, a Jesuit seigneurie. This plan shows the location of the convent and its garden in the centre of the village near the church and the cemetery and makes it possible to follow the evolution of the original piece of land as certain parts were recovered or sold through the years.
