Marie-Anne Thibierge (Sister Sainte-Pélagie)

Marie-Anne Thibierge, named sœur Sainte-Pélagie, was born on May 15, 1690 in Montreal and died there on March 21, 1757. She entered the Congregation in or before 1714. She worked for a long time in the mission in the Lower Town of Quebec City. For a few years she was Novice Mistress before being electedSuperior in 1745. When her term expired in 1751, she was appointed Assistant to the Superior, a position she occupied until her death.
