Letter and list of donated items by Madame Le Nobletz, widow of the chargé d'affaires of the Congregation in France
Although the Congrégation de Notre-Dame was not present in France, it still obtained certain revenue. Even after France lost Canada to Great Britain 1763, the Community continued to receive substantial yearly annuities from France. French mediators, procurators, chargés d'affaires and benefactors provided various services to the Congregation: purchased and delivered supplies, administered goods or interceded with different officials.
