Estimate of the cost of rebuilding the church and chancel

At the beginning of the 19th century, the Mother House and the Church of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame were dilapidated. The Sisters constructed new buildings at the same location on Notre-Dame Street. The Sisters settled into their fourth Mother House in 1844 and the Church was inaugurated in 1847.
