Marie-Victoire Beaudry (Sister de la Croix)

Marie-Victoire Beaudry, named sœur de la Croix, was born on December 12, 1782 in Pointe-aux-Trembles (Montreal) and died on November 10, 1846. She studied at the Congregation convent before entering the novitiate when she was 16 years old. She made profession in 1801 and, despite health issues, taught in different missions. In 1818, she was Novice Mistress until she was elected Superior of the Congregation in 1822. From 1828 she occupied the position of Concillor before retiring in the Infirmary.
