Marie-Sophie Mignault (Sister Saint-Bernard)

Marie-Sophie Mignault, named sœur Saint-Bernard, was born October 5, 1812 in Saint-Denis and died on December 28, 1890. She made profession in 1833 and taught until 1850, when she was appointed Novitiate Directress. After having occupied this position until 1857, she became Assistant Superior of the community. She was elected Congregation Superior a first time from 1861 to 1864 and again from 1882 to 1885.
